Much more than just a rock store, Northstar offers many items never before available in Whatcom County. Tired of the same old patio or garden furnishings? Not finding anything that expresses your taste at the box stores? Do you want your garden or patio to be a little different than your neighbors? Do you desire an unique bench for your garden or patio? Northstar has them. How about a granite table or two? We have several.  Because of the very nature of natural stone, each item is one of a kind.  Others may be similar, but none will be exactly the same.

The olivine bench pictured above is a truly exceptional piece. The golden patina together with the natural olive color of the polished stone renders a bench that is much more than a piece of furniture, it is a statement, a natural piece of art.  We have several olivine benches, similar in appearance to each other, but each one is unique in shape, color and markings.

We have a wide variety of natural stone benches in regular shapes and sizes also. Our stone benches are made a variety of stone, including basalt, granite, Tenino sandstone, and Wilkeson sandstone and others.
