Boulders and Basalt Columns

At Northstar we stock many kinds and many sizes of stone.  If you want flagstone, we have it in many types and colors.  If you want wall stone, we have that in a variety of sizes and colors.  If you desire some larger stone as anchors or accents for your landscape, Northstar has those also.

We have the largest selection of boulders, outcrop rock, and basalt columns in Whatcom County.  Our boulders range in size from a few hundred pounds to a several thousand pounds, and our basalt columns range from a few feet tall to nearly fourteen feet tall.  Our larger stone comes from quarries in Canada, Montana and eastern Washington, and from local quarries as well. Our wide variety of sizes shapes and colors of larger stone gives our customers the widest range of choice available in the area.  A boulder or basalt column can be more than an accent in your landscape, it can be a bold statement and a central focus of you landscape plan.
